Sponsorships provide students the opportunity to compete with The FIRST Robotics Competition.
Teams learn to solve a common problem in a six-week time frame using a standard kit and list of rules for the competition. The students build robots from the parts and enter them in a series of competitions designed by FIRST founders Dean Kamen and Woodie Flowers.
The teams learn not only how to build a robot but also how to work with other team members and many skills needed for future success.
